A quote that I read recently bought idea of this piece I wrote. Its a beautiful one and it says:
“To forgive is to set a prisoner free and realize that prisoner was you.” ~ Lewis B. Smedes
Goes back my mind to those sleepless nights
Tossing like a ball of waste paper on the bed
My thoughts crumbled shapeless into that ball
Figures disrupt, displaying the story of my ache
Then a day another came, and when the baggage was too heavy
It began with your hand in mine, firm, the kinds which
Silently say never let go and I never intended to
Was it then the strong winds that took your hand away?
