a thousand times

this was the world
I will have to breathe in
for the rest of my life

AUTUMN

My best friend treated me
like her favorite slave
I was afraid of upsetting her
What if I had to eat
my lunch alone
while she stole bites from someone else?

WINTER

I want to trust
trust so badly
but people aren’t trustworthy

SPRING

Dear me, you are the best version
of yourself
so don’t be disappointed
if they can’t see your worth
they don’t know about your struggles
but you do

The Sky is Clear After Rain

What it is about?
The Sky is Clear after Rain starts from the very beginning of a life, and in steps as this life moves forward, her experiences are shown in four seasons representing four phases of life: Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. Each season vividly describes her experiences about love, life, failing, growing among people that broke her, made her into the person she is today. It is about observations of life and what it taught her, sometimes brutally and sometimes like a pat on the head. She feels grateful for all these lessons because otherwise she wouldn’t have achieved this wisdom and knowledge which is also represented by the color purple on the cover page. There would be moments when you will pause and wonder the depth of the words you just read and the meaning that they carry. These words speak for themselves because they came straight from the heart of the writer who wanted to share how she has reached a stage where she knows what is important in life.
